August Recap:
It was a busy month here at Hillside. We welcomed our new residents with a lively move-in week as well as welcomed back all of our returning residents! We are so happy to have everyone here and are looking forward to another great year!
We kicked off the first day of classes with breakfast on-the-go. Students enjoyed fresh baked muffins, fruit and juice as they headed off to class.
Our annual Courtyard cookout was also a success with residents enjoying burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and delicious side from Brooks BBQ. Yard games, Especially KanJam, were a hit this summer evening too. It was great to see familiar faces and chat with many new residents.
We also welcomed back Waffle Weekends this month, which takes place in the Cafe’ on the first floor when classes are in session. Your resident can grab waffles Saturday’s from 10am-1pm and Sunday’s from noon-2pm. Sunday we have flavored waffles with popular options like cinnamon roll, banana, blueberry and strawberry.

Goat Yoga: We are excited to be bringing a Goat Yoga program to Hillside next week! NY Goat Yoga will be here leaded a session on September 9th. If your resident signed up with our office, it is sure to be a fun time. Sign-ups are now full, but there are still spots available for students who bring $20 to attend the class.
Renewal Kickoff!
On Sunday September 12 at 3pm we will be having a renewal leasing kickoff event with delicious wood fired pizza! This event will allow current residents to have first chance at renewing their room for the 2022-2023 lease term, before we open it to the general student public. Our first lucky 30 residents to renew will not only secure the same room, but will also win a $150 Amex gift card! We hope to see your resident there if they are eligible to renew! They will be receiving a personal invite very soon!
As a friendly reminder, September rent is due. Please make arrangements to pay online to avoid the $50 late fee, charged on the 6th of the month.
Please note that our office will be closed Monday Sept, 6th in observance of the Holiday. We hope you have a safe and great Labor Day Weekend!
