Happy almost Summer Hillside Residents! I am sending you all love, positivity and good vibes as the semester comes to an end. All of us here at Hillside Commons wish all of you luck with finals.

During the semester we hosted several events to encourage social interaction and quality of life. Did you attend any events last month? If not, here’s what you missed…4/13/22 -Sip n Paint with CA Angela. Angela facilitated this event by painting clouds and during this event, if you were 21 and over, we offered wine. Those who were not had mocktails. We had a post-Easter egg hunt that was a success. We celebrated earth day by planting flowers and/or herbs such as basil, chives, and catnip. We also provided a list of ways to celebrate the earth and things to do daily to save our planet. If you would like a copy of that list, please visit the leasing office, and ask for Essence. On other days we had random ideas to order food and drinks just cause. Got to love it here at Hillside.

We have some events planned for May as well. On May 2nd we will have Iced Tea at the Leasing Office. This is a grab-and-go event, however, please feel free to stay and chat with us with refreshing iced tea. You can get to know the new management team and ask questions. Next, we will have a Cinco De Mayo celebration. There will be Tortilla chips, guac, salsa, queso, and margaritas provided at the Clubhouse starting at 12 pm until it lasts. Next up, on the first day of finals, we will have a bagel bar from Panera Bread at 9 am first come first serve, then later that day, we will have a special surprise* for lunch at 1 pm also first come first serve. Popcorn on the go May 17th, Mimosa Monday, May 23rd. Date and times are subject to change so please look out for emails.
